Telegram
You are away from your desk and the agent needs its next task. Connect your own Telegram bot to the machine and write to it like a colleague: it does the work on the machine and replies in the chat. The bot is yours, and its token never passes through us.
How to start
-
1
If you have not signed Claude Code in on the machine yet, type
claudeon the Terminal tab and sign in. - 2 In Telegram, message @BotFather, send /newbot and answer its three questions. It gives you a token.
-
3
In the machine's terminal, run
cd ~/.claude/channels/telegram, thenecho 'TELEGRAM_BOT_TOKEN=TOKEN' > .envwith your token in place of TOKEN. - 4 Half a minute later, write the bot anything. It sends back a six-character code and a /telegram:access command you do not need.
-
5
Type
telegram-pair CODEin the terminal. The bot says you are in.
The bot does what it is told on the machine without asking for confirmation. Pair only people you would trust with the machine.
