Files by drag and drop

You need Claude to look at a spreadsheet, a contract or an error on your screen. Drag the file onto the terminal or paste a screenshot: it lands on the machine in ~/uploads and its path is typed at Claude Code's prompt. Then say what to do with it.

How to start

  1. 1 Open your machine from the Dashboard and start claude on the Terminal tab.
  2. 2 Drag files onto the terminal.
  3. 3 Or take a screenshot to the clipboard, Cmd+Ctrl+Shift+4 on a Mac or Win+Shift+S on Windows, and paste it into the terminal.
  4. 4 The path appears at the prompt. Add what to do with the file and press Enter.

The clip above the terminal only puts files in ~/uploads, without typing anything.
