SSH

Prefer your own terminal, editor and scripts? Connect from them over plain SSH, with a key and no password. The browser terminal and SSH share one tmux session: start in one, carry on in the other.

How to start

  1. 1 Open your machine from the Dashboard and unfold “Prefer your own terminal? SSH, and the keys that open it”.
  2. 2 Paste your public key, usually ~/.ssh/id_ed25519.pub, and press Add key. No key yet? The same panel has two commands that make one.
  3. 3 Within a few minutes the key is marked On the machine.
  4. 4 Copy the connect command from the same page and run it in your own terminal.
  5. 5 To join the session from the browser, type tmux attach -t agent.

Work with the machine any way you like
